Foundations Study Group!!!!

Hey everybody...as we heard/read, our Fundamentals Final is Tue, Oct. 7 so that gives us a couple weeks to study. Juliana and I discussed meeting this Saturday at 12pm to begin studying for this final. The session can run until 6pm (or later) so if you can't make it for exactly 12 that's ok...come when you can and join in.

Tentatively:
Date: Saturday, September 27, 2008
Time: 12pm - 6pm
Location: UNLV Study Room OR Touro Study Room (we can take a vote to see which loc is more convenient - i vote for Touro)

We'd like to limit the size of the group, however, for productivity purposes, so if you're interested, please chime in ASAP!

I was thinking we could break the study days we have (granted we won't be studying only on this Saturday) into chapters/topics and then perhaps the weekend before the final we could have an all out review. We have to keep in mind that our Foundations HESI and Health Assessment Final is also that same week...so if anyone has suggestions on how we can schedule our study time so we can fit everything in, by all means....

k that's all for now....

p.s... I'm still interested in forming a study group for Pharmacology as well, so I guess we'll see how this study group works out and take it from there

Telly :o)

The more I think about it the more Touro would be better. I am not sure about other former UNLV students but I don't think my internet access work there any more.
Just a thought.

That would be awesome. I would like to join and Touro would be fine. Could you please be more specific which chapters we would start off the study group with? That would help a lot b'cos we obviously won't complete discussing all the chapters on Saturday.

i'm thinking that since the bulk of the final is the new content, we can start with the chapters assigned after test #2. my suggestion (didn't really give this A LOT of thought, so if you think of better suggestions, by all means throw em out there!)

Sat: 41 - 44
Mon: 45, 46, 16 - 18
Tues: 19 - 21, 47
Wed and Fri: Review Test 1 and 2
Sat: Review of ALL information

This is A LOT, but I feel if we stick to our schedule and make use of our time, we'll get A LOT accomplished and hopefully do really well on the exam.

Only you two have responded, so this leads me to believe that either no one else is interested or they haven't read the blog recently. Either way, I still plan to show up Saturday and I'll be in the library at 12. If anyone else shows, that's where I'll be and we can just relocate to somewhere where we don't have to be quiet.

Shntel :o)

I reserved a study room starting at 12:30. Its study room number 10 right by the skills labs. So Telly if you want to go straight there go right ahead. See you guys then. Oh and the room is reserved till 6.
